Engine Description: Here are two brand new additions to our 3-1/4 ga. Railroad. Our first engine was the “Pacific” type with wheel arrangement of 4-6-2, and now the “Hudson” with a 4-6-4 assembly and articulated trailing truck. This engine is motorized: DC permanent magnet, 12 volt, 1/10 horsepower, worm gear reversible.

Power supply: Industrial nickel cadmium rechargeable heavy duty battery in the tender.There is extra piping, hand rails, marker lights, valve gear covers, flag stanchions, and operating head light.

All passenger cars have interior detailing such as: easy chair seating, bathrooms, dining tables and kitchen, pullman with private bedrooms, and of course with beds. You will be suprised.

This model is 16" length and weigh 6 1/2 lbs., and operates on the road as well as the rails.  It runs on the standard 3 1/4" ga. track.  Naturally, the "Chief Inspectors" personal car operates on the same 3 1/4 ga. track.  The railroad wheels are retractable and move up or down controlled by a hand lever.  This is truly a collectors prize and limited to a production of 24 models.

The motor car will come with a personal decal with your name or any name you choose, ie. YOUR NAME CHIEF INSPECTOR

The first diesel loco was made for the Jersey Central R.R in 1926 by General Electric and Alco. By chance this was the first year for the 3-1/4” ga. Trains that were sold in major department stores. This picture of our model is a very close copy of that first diesel.
